Check brake light switch works, as this could have an affect on the automatic gearbox "not in park" stuff safty disable, ignition on press brake jiggle shift lever in neutral and back to park, make sure brake ligths work. try again. I will say the Malibu is a heavy car, so it's very stable on the road, even in the snow and ice. Anyway, most of the time, these problems are sensor related.
